TEHRAN -- The Majlis has decided to grant Rls.5 billion of assistance in the next Iranian year (starts March 21, 2002) to foreign countries, organizations or agencies which do business in Iran.

The bill was proposed by the Foreign Ministry in order to materialize the goals of the Third Five-Year Development Plan, especially in the field of foreign relations and economic cooperation.
